The butterfly effect results from the enforcement of EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) has triggered all major economies to establish their own carbon tax systems. In the name of Net-Zero emissions, carbon reduction has evolved from an environmental issue into international trade barriers. Taiwan, as an export-oriented country and a major carbon dioxide (CO2) emitter, faces significant challenges from this global trend. However, many domestic small and medium-sized enterprises are still unfamiliar with greenhouse gas (GHG) related issues and don’t know how to respond properly. Knowing majority of business owners are anxious about carbon tax and carbon disclosure, our founder determined to devote his expertise in GHG and manufacturing industry to provide practical assistance with reasonable costs to businesses. Thus, TRI Source Environmental Technology Inc. (TSET) was born in 2023.
TSET was initiated by 3 professionals: former GHG lead auditor, university lecturer and accountant. Team members have been involved in GHG business since 2008. We have extensive experience in corporate-level GHG inventory quantification and verification, carbon footprint quantification and verification, domestic and international carbon reduction project design, validation and verification, ESG project development, etc. We have served a wide variety of industries, including flat panel display manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, IC test and package, aviation, power generation, incineration plants, chemical plants, steel mills, metal product processing and manufacturing, food processing, animal husbandry, and academic institutions, etc.
TSET’s major mission is to assist enterprises to disclose company carbon emissions and product carbon emissions in responding to the requirements of CBAM or other control schemes. Furthermore, we wish to work with customers and lead them toward a sustainable future through corporate carbon asset management and ESG project establishment. We firmly believe that every enterprise has the potential to change the world. We will stand next to customers and make the Earth a better place to live together.
